...isn't to contact the seller to confirm that the item has been shipped, check the items status in My eBay to see if there is a tracking # or anything of that sort, but instead to leave the seller a neutral feedback saying that they hope they shipped it out. Makes perfect sense right? I mean, why bother trying to do things the right way...

If you don't want that happening to you, I'd suggest you add transformers11196 to your blocked bidders list. He paid for the item on Christmas day, and I shipped the card out the next day. Instead of contacting me about not having received the item yet, he decided that neutral feedback was the way to go. From reading his feedback and screen name, I'm wondering if the doorknob might be a kid. Oh well, it'll only take a year for that neutral to disappear, not like the previous 10 years with only 1 other neutral (uninformed buyer) and no negatives meant anything, right?

Almost as bad where I got a negative recently on Sportlots...the comment:

"You sent the wrong card."

Would you think the logical thing would be to contact the seller and either get a refund or the correct card?

Sad part is, I know exactly what the issue was with the card I sent him...and it was an easy fix...but NOOOOOOOOOOOO...just leave a negative instead without contacting.

Anything Sportslots can do to help with it?

I don't know, I hadn't actually contacted them yet. This just happened recently. We'll see if they can remove it...

Sellers have no protection at all these days. I feel like I'm in a sack kicking contest with no cup on whatsoever.

I got a neutral recently for someone who was extremely impatient and felt like leaving that after receiving a card 7 days after paying for it. I guess if I don't ship priority overnight or express its not good enough. Oh well. And they only had 13 feedback. Great......

The low feedback buyers really do create most of the problems, don't they? My sack kicker has a total of 31 feedback. I've given up the ghost of ever being able to maintain perfect feedback, as I know some day someone even dumber than this person will come along and drop a negative for something silly like "too much padding in envelope" or something equally assenine, but it's still frustrating.

Didn't ebay create remove FB system where seller can request to amend issues with buyer and the FB can be alter for the better?

My guess is a lot of those low feedback idiots are people who've had their accounts already closed by ebay, and are just opening up new ones.

I think you can mutually agree, but what incentive does a buyer have to do that? They can leave a negative and have no repricussions.

And in Sean's case, they'll get the card and were able to give a negative...all because they didn't have the card in 7-10 days. Oh and nevermind it's the friggin' holidays where mail is slow.

I think they have some type of system to correct feedback, but I'm guessing that if the guy can't figure out how to use the contact buyer option that trying to use the FB removal system would be something he'd never be able use once his card does arrive.
