So far his WRs have three drops that would have been 1st downs, one long one was probably a TD if he grabbed it. He seems to have good poise in the pocket, even against that blitz-crazy Eagles D.

I think he played well enough to get more starts. At times, he even looked great. I bet Tampa's coaches aren't too upset at him, especially considering how the Eagles D can make better, more experienced QBs look bad. The O-Line was like Swiss cheese and he still made some plays.

This is from memory, but the way I remember it on the interceptions: One pick was a bad throw, one a tipped pass, and the other a bad decision.

And he was under as much duress as Kirstie Alley's chef. All day long too. As I said before, I, and alot of the media I've read since, feel he played well enough. Certainly well enough to earn more starts, especially if their schedule gets easier.

My friend has some of the sickest Josh Johnsons, I won a few for him, I think he still has all the exquisite JSY # stuff. He is a pretty solid player, he was good in college.

He will definitely get more starts, no question about that.

He played well enough in a hostile environment.

I thought he looked pretty good considering the circumstances. I didn't get to watch the whole game but I watched a decent amount. The score could have been a lot closer than it was. The Bucs got stuffed on 4th and 1 when they were in field goal range and 2 of Johnsons INTs were when they were inside the Philly 15. If my memory is correct 1 int was was on a ball that bounced off a recievers hands, 1 was a bad decision when he was under a ton of pressure and the other was just a bad throw.

I think he shows lots of poise, he throws a pretty good ball, has really good scrambling ability if Winslow builds on this weeks game and Bryant is healthy he could have a pretty solid offense around him. I would love it if they give him the rest of the season to start. I just hope they don't turn the team over to Freeman without really finding out if Johnson is good enough to start.
