I love Ebay but sellers like this one make me sick!

I mean let's at least try to be honest about what your selling. I've seen these reprint cards listed as true autos so many times. It pains me to think that people out there are getting cheated by these guys. I can just imagine a wife or somebody buying this card for their significant other. If this particular seller frequents here ... You should be ashamed of yourself.

Unless the seller actually thinks its an auto. Ive only seen one or two.of these cards in person, and I had to do a double take. At first glance they look real.

Yes, absolutely! Something like this would be easy to report and I don't see EBay ruling against the costumer if they open a case against the seller. The customer should be rewarded a full refund if they return the card. The only thing that stinks is the customer will have to pay the S/H for returning the card.

The thing is, you don't always know if there is malicious intent there or not. I email sellers maybe 1-2 a month who have listed Dodger facsimile balls as the real thing. Most question it at first, citing that they got it from grandpa or some other back story, but when I provide compelling evidence that it's stamped, they usually thank me and remove the listing. Some just ignore me and keep the listing up as is. Those are the people I report.

There are a lot of novice sellers who actually don't know what they have! Sometimes that can be a huge benefit for a buyer and sometimes it can lead to a case where you buy something that isn't as advertised.

I hear you about the autoballs. I too have had messaged many sellers that they are just stamped. I had one guy tell me that his grandfather had the ball personally signed and his grandfather would not lie to him about the ball and he was going to report me for harassing him. I dont bother anymore.

That is the kind of guy who is either purposefully scamming and has a story he has told so often that he has now convinced himself is real or grandpa was a dirtbag liar!

I actually enjoy the responses I get from those who don't believe me, even when I provide photo evidence!
