Surprisingly I am getting 20% power seller discounts yet I am not a power seller LOL (was but didn't sell enough)

Anyone who has bought from me knows I ship same or next day everytime. I use paypal shipping so there's no way anyone should be bitter about a cheap postage rate - especially on items with free shipping - which are every item I've sold!

My thinking as far as offering the free shipping is that I'll get more than the average price for item X, assuming some buyers factor in shipping. That amount combined with the discount should at the very least equal out - hopefully add up to a little extra. It's crazy seeing how I used to charge $3.49 and had 4.9. Now I'm at 4.52.

It makes no sense to me, just like everything else ebay does. I don't sell enough to qualify for discounts or power seller status so i pretty much ignore my DSR's unless ebay informs me I have a problem.

That's the way it worked with me as well. I offered free shipping for a time and my DSR went down, so I figured I might as well charge for it.

I guess I am one of the few people that thinks that if I bid on a person's auction, I also agree to their shipping terms, for good or bad. DSR's are retarded just like most else of eBay these days.
