I collect stubs from games that my players have played in.

I also save every stub from every game I have ever been too if I can.

The one I am looking for is a reasonably priced stub from the ALCS that Dana Kiecker pitched in in 1991 (?)

I collect WS tickets and stubs from the Pirates. I have 3 1960 stubes, 2 1971 and 4 unused 1979 tickets.

I've got 500 or so different tickets from games that Vizquel has played in. Collecting them keeps me distracted from the fact I rarely find cards I need!

I never really understood the appeal of purchasing tickets of games where a player simply hit a home run or something. Extra special games (no-hitter, perfect game, 300th win, etc.) maybe, but not much else. If you went to the game, sure, then it's sentimental, but what's the appeal of buying a ticket from a game you didn't attend where a player like J-Up did something he does 30 times a year?

I'm not trying to start a war; I'm really asking why the draw?

Not a huge collector, but do own several bigger ones. I have an autographed ELI Manning from the his first SB and i have the recent Giants SB (non auto) on the way. Also have several from Calgary/Tampa 2004 Stanley Cup and a few Grey Cup (CFL) stumps as well.

For me it's mostly that I only find a card I'm missing once every few months, if I'm lucky. It's something else to occupy my collecting OCD and they're relatively cheap. It is interesting to go through old box scores and see what happened, and here's the actual ticket from the game.
