My dog got ahold of this and let's just say it is no longer in nm-mt condition or better. I am going to be running a contest here to find the biggest Gordon Beckham fan on these boards. Anybody who can leave the best reason why I should send them this card (and why they would still want it) will get this card. Contest ends at 12am EST.

Re: I need to find the biggest Gordon Beckham/White Sox fan

my s/n is j.o., short for jerry owens, my favorite player on the sox. i like beckham a lot, have a blue ref auto and a bgs 9 base, and it's the first sox hitter to have an auto in awhile in chrome.

While I am not a Gordon Beckham fan, I could definitely use the card anyway. Why, you ask? First off, my dog has been very sick recently. With a cyst in his back, awful breath, and a bad case of arthritis, I plan on hopefully extracting dog DNA from the card and curing Spike, my dog.

Second, I hope to eventually have a complete set of 2008 BDP BGS 4's. This would be a bangin' start and I wouldn't even have to alter the card. The pooch has done that for me.

Not to mention, I <3 CR.

Sorry to hear the news Jeff, was anything else lost?

Nope, that was it. I still don't know how he got to it. It was in a 2 row shoe box on a coffee table.

I deserve the card because I am the only person willing to pay to get it graded. I'm hoping for a BGS 3 or 4? The centering looks pretty good....

I've seen Miguel Cabrera TT autos that were easily missing a quarter inch off the bottom.

If this is honestly for the biggest beckham fan, it's me. I heard about Beckham when he was a Junior at Georgia when I was watching a game. Ever since I saw him make 3 diving plays, get up, and gun it over to first, I've admired the way he plays. I really love how he plays with such hustle and intensity, and even though I don't play the field too much, I try to pitch with the same intensity he plays the field with. Thanks for the contest Jeff, sorry about the card.
