Brings me back to when I was 9 years old watching Gonzo hit that bloop hit over shortstop to win the World Series.

Back in the days when my favorite colors were teal, gold, and purple, and the Diamondbacks were all I talked about to my friends (yep, i was that kid)

I'm excited to start a small DBacks personal collection of autos/patches of players on the 2001 team.
Especially my old favorites: Johnson, Gonzo, Finley, Womack, Grace, Schilling, Williams, heck...even B.K. Kim!

I named a lost cat after Luis Gonzalez. We found him wandering around our yard and our neighbor's yard. It was an awesome cat until we gave him back to it's owner.

Little known (or remembered) fact, Jeter wasn't playing shortstop at the time. He was taken out of the game after a hard slide into second base by the dbacks. I've always wondered if Jeter would have got to that blooper if he was playing SS. Could have changed everything! :ugeek:

It is little known because it isn't a fact. Jeter was absolutely still in the game.
