Very nice scan hofautos...I voted real in your earlier thread. That is a very tough set to be confident about and I'm sure it is a patch fakers dream...but with all aspects put together with your examination and the sellers ratings I feel it is a-ok

Yeah I definitely think it's real too. I really just think this set has some insane patches. Awesome card man.

No offense to you, but I can't believe people always say... "I looked at it and couldn't see any signs of tampering". Do people really think the big patch fakers would be able to get away with so much of it without knowing how to do it well? Granted, there are some people out there that are bad at doing it, but the ones that do the majority, know how to do it and do it well.

(Not making any commentary on the authenticity of the card in this thread one way or the other, just making a point on the subject).

And no Offense to you flight but patch fakers always leave thier mark. Even the Guys that do it well. I know because I have had the unfortunate mispleasure of buying from some of the better looking fakes and it is never perfect even when they split cards. Another thing that helps patch fakers is that even some cards pulled look to be tampered with where there may be a crease in the jersey window or a piece of the patch sticks out. If you look at a fake patch enough you can clearly see the flaws. I guess like you said some people can live with the "what if" and some people cant. So far I can.

That's why i emailed topps in the first place about the numbering...
it is 16/20..I wanted to know if they had nice patches even though it was #/20 and they indicated yes.

I get so tired of the fake patch phenomenon...I buy and sell awesome patch cards on a regular basis, why is it that every really nice patch card has to be deemed fake or so questionable that everyone shies away? Some of my collection that I have sold,traded, or still have. If you think that patch cards are bogus then don't buy them. Sure it sucks that cards are questionable, but don't buy them if they are coming from the idiots that we all know sell bogus junk.
