Just pulled it from 2008 Topps Update... I have never pulled a sketch card before. Any clue of the possible ebay value of this bad boy???? Anyone know the artist for this card?? There appears to be a tag in the upper right corner but nowhere does it say who it's by.

It is Diaz. And i hate sketches that dont show the players face but you should be able to get at leawst $50 for that. Congrats on the pull.

I'd say at least $75.00. I sold a Ryan Howard for $40.00 plus change. I wouldn't be shocked to see it hit triple digits.

I can assure you that I am not schilling. To be perfectly honest, I was a little disappointed that whoever the person is placing so many bids so early is doing that, because I KNEW it'd look like schilling. Take a look at all the auctions I've done, you won't find one instance where schilling may be apparent.

I may not be a 'power seller' but I am not shady, either. I'm sorry you may have gotten that impression. To protect my reputation, should I somehow ban that person from bidding?? Also, my apologies to the forum for posting an ebay auction link, I didn't realize it was considered spam.

Kinda wondered that myself. Guess they were just inserted across all Topps brands in 08?? It confused me even more when I saw listings for sketch cards that said Topps or Topps Update on them... who knows. Perhaps someone here knows. I do not bust enough wax to be familiar with some of the 'bigger' pulls. 100% that this came from a 2008 Topps Update pack, though. Weird, or maybe not.
