I have Ray Rice and David Wilson (as well as Doug Martin, but he's good-to-go). My dilemma is that Rice is going up against Denver and Wilson is going up against Dallas. I hate making risky moves on the first game of the season, and Rice is ALWAYS a proven entity, but my gut here tells me that Wilson could have a 2+ TD-day, and Rice might get shelved if Baltimore gets behind and abandons the run against Denver's tough run D.

Thoughts?

It's week 1. I'd start Rice for the reason you stated about being a proven player. It seems week one never turns out the way people expect it will go.

start rice

how did you get rice and martin and wilson btw?

It's a smaller league, and I picked toward the back of the first round, meaning I got a quick turn-around to get Martin and Rice. It helped that there were some people in my league picking with their hearts and homers, rather than their brains. I lost connectivity during the draft, so I got F'd on QB (Stafford). But my WRs and RBs might be the best in the league.

I took Martin with the #2 pick in my league and Wilson in round 2.

I had Rice last year, but decided to pass on him this season.

I would start Wilson. Coughlin says he will get the ball at the goal line EVERY time.

Sit Wilson. Dallas D is better than ever, Wilson is gonna get his ass shoved in the face all day. Alway trust ray rice he is proven.

I say play Rice and sit Wilson for the opposite reason. Dallas may have a lot of talent on paper, but they don't have ~that good of a D... or overall team for that matter.

I feel pretty safe in saying that a lot of NYG touchdowns will probably come from 10-20 yard manning pass/catch/runs, and Wilson may only get a shot or two to score at the goal line. And that they will win, pretty easy too.

Plus Ray Rice is just beast, I don't think I'd ever sit him. Though, I've never had your kind of depth at RB. Honestly, I'd try to package wilson+your QB for a better QB.
