This set is about cards your mother had threw out right? Well i just pulled this one and if my mom threw out this one ...

No, it's a decent concept, except it shouldn't include ANY cards from about '86 to today. It's our parents that you hear stories of "mom threw out the cards." So this insert set should be filled with '50s, '60s and '70s reprints...not current stuff.

I agree with that. If they wanted to reprint cards from the late 80s/early 90s, they should call the set "Cards People Thought Were Going to Be Worth Money."

Speaking of the Pedroia card, I've pulled 4 of that one. 3 have gold foil on the front, 1 has silver foil. I can find no logical explanation why. Could this be an unannounced variation?
