NFL.com did an article about what songs NFL players would use if they had "walk-on songs" like baseball players use when they come up to bat. Here are the ones they chose:

Drew Bress - "Eye of The Tiger" Survivor
Randy Moss - "99 Problems" Jay-Z
Chad Ochocinco - "I Do" Young Jeezy Feat. Jay-Z & Andre 3000
Ray Lewis - "Nasty" Nas
Troy Polamalu - "Look Around" Red Hot Chili Peppers
Vince Wilfork - "Focused" Wale Feat. Kid Cudi
Clay Matthews - "Ace of Spades" Motorhead
Calvin Johnson - "Beez in The Trap" Nicki Minaj
Jimmy Graham - “Sky’s the Limit” Notorious B.I.G
LeSean McCoy - "Bring Em Out" T.I.
Cam Newton - "Superstar" Lupe Fiasco
Adrian Peterson - "The Motto" Drake Feat. Lil Wayne, Tyga
Brandon Marshall - "Headlines" Drake
Marshawn Lynch - "Otis" Kanye West and Jay-Z
Tom Brady - "Lonely Boy" The Black Keys
Rob Gronkowski - "Sexy And I Know" It LMFAO
Larry Fitzgerald - "Louder Than a Bomb" Public Enemy
Terrell Suggs - "Good Life" Kayne West
Aaron Rodgers - "Moves Like Jagger" Maroon 5 Featuring Christina Aguilera
Eli Manning - "We're Not Gonna Take it" Twisted Sister
Victor Cruz - "Loca" Shakira ft. El Cata
Tim Tebow - "Empire State of Mind" Jay-Z and Alicia Keys
Andy Dalton - "Breakout" Foo Fighters
Arian Foster - "Namaste" Beastie Boys
Peyton Manning - "Run This Town" Jay-Z, Rihanna and Kanye West

Too many "new" songs, especially on the rap side of their choices.
When was the last time you were at an NFL game? Most of the songs they play during warmups are rap music, at least that's the way it is here in Pittsburgh.

I wasn't commenting on the rap aspect, but the fact that many of those songs were only a couple years old (especially the rap songs that were mentioned).

One would expect the songs to be heavily rap/R&B leaning.

Well, most of the players probably would pick more recent songs.
