if pujols had a gold ref auto would it sell for more ....

so let's say instead of 500 refs, pujols had the regular BC lineup of nowadays, about 1500 base, 500 ref, 225 x, 150 blue, 50 gold, 25 orange 5 red and super.
would the gold sell for more than, less than, or about equal to the price of his regular chrome ref auto he has?

before saying "oh it's /50 vs /500, no question more, think that there would be about just under 2,500 pujols chrome autos, so i don't think it would sell for as much as you'd think. thoughts?

It's an interesting question and ultimately I would say more. There's something about a gold refractor...

I would say about twice as much. i could see it being 8-10k.

The reds and supers would obviously not be for sale often if ever, and would be museum pieces that normal folk simply will never own.

I would say it sell for more, but honestly couldn't tell you where.

The /500 wouldnt get what it gets if there was that many of them out there thought, that is for sure. I could see it getting 5k.
