Not even close...but i think the seller (or the "kid" he bought it from) is banking on people knowing that UD has a history of putting the wrong auto's on the wrong cards. This would be just another of those situations, but it was clearly overkill. And i dont think many people are buying it (except this seller if hes telling the truth about the show).

I love the old "I bought it at a show from *enter a person here*", ironically its usually a kid or an old lady. Now ask them what show and where is it located I will bet the story then gets a bit weird.

I emailed the seller and he seems legitimately concerned with the situation. He said he bought it from some kid at a show for $300 hoping for a quick flip on eBay. I told him that I'm pretty sure it's not real, and he asked me to call him so I could tell him why. I told him I planned to call UD tomorrow, and he asked me a few times to follow back up with him to let him know what they said.
Looks like a kid signed it

very fake and as for why he dont buy a jeter well a jeter sweet spot is 100$ and a kemp is 10$ you do the math, plus why would they cut out a jeter to put a jeter.

I did the math, I'm saying they'd make more money just buying a Jeter and simply adding the inscriptions, rather than erasing a Kemp(or whatever happened here) and trying to pass it off as a Jeter signed error.

A little off topic, but how is that the nicest auto? I would prefer griffey jr, mariano rivera over those circles

That auto is the way he originally signed as a rookie. Here is how he signs now for which people referred to as him having a nice auto.

PLUS, check this out... I was hanging out on a message board one day when Phil Hughes showed off the new Sweet Spot cards he just got to sign. The leather and lumber pieces are already mounted into the card BEFORE the athlete signs it!

Then again, that could mean that Jeter got this Kemp card in his box and was inspired to inscribe it heavily. That left little room to sign, which made his auto look a little different than it normall does... just kidding, I think it's a fake! And kind of a funny one too...
