If you could ask any 1 player (current or past) 1 question, and get the real honest answer, what would it be?

Would you ask Babe Ruth what his greatest fear as a player was?
Would you ask Cal Ripken Jr what his favorite Hot Pocket is?
Would you ask Albert Pujols just how old he really is?
Would you ask Jason Bay "Do these pants make me look fat?"
....or anybody and steroids

Here's my one question :
To Shoeless Joe Jackson - "Were you really in on the 1919 World Series fix?"

to Ty Cobb:

"did you really sharpen your spikes?"

(even though his autobiography/biography says he didnt)

I'd ask Pete Rose "just how much money did you bet on Reds games?".

I'd probably ask any player what their favorite kind of music to listen to is.You can tell a lot about somebody by the type of music they listen to.

Which is one of the reasons I always like AJ Burnett. Anyone who writes "OZZY" on their bat knob due to being a fan of metal is worth the interest in my book.

For me, I'd ask Nomar what it's like to go from superstar to a role/bench player.

Not to beat him down on it, just to find out how it was adjusting to it.

Well I would ask him to sign his rookie card but he'd say no as he refuses to sign a card with the wrong picture.

The key to the question/topic was that you would get an honest response for the question you asked the player.

As far as I know there has been no tangible proof (test?) for Sosa, like there was for Palmeiro.

To Sammy Sosa:

Did you use performance-enhancing drugs?
Here's your answer, just think about a little more latin accent though.

I know but they all say they didn't do it, and I'm sure that'd be his response.

I'd ask that question to everyone who has played baseball from like 2000 through now that.
