im going to list the cards i currently own as i will never complete a dream list

Purchased from a collector who was selling off his collection for 2k$ and cards for a combined value of 3300$. He had 2 and saved the nicer one for me as he remembered how much I wanted the card. This is my whale and the head board of my McGwire card collection. I can not convey the desire I had to own this card from the moment i realized he would be added to the APOH 500 Auto set.

Here is the article from Beckett that began the 4.5 year wait. When it first came out I was freshman in college and could not afford it. The last one that was up for sale was 3 years prior to be landing it.

The Beckett article from early 2002 - while reading I realized my whale would be produced

Reasons why I had to 4.5 years.
Check out the sale prices.
Imagine me seeing the auctions and knowing I could not go after one....

#4 - at the time i purchased it in 2001, it was McGwire's only GU card produced. I used all my money from my summer job.
It also has sentimental value as i got it around the time i graduated highschool. Later had it signed at private signing
