I would go with the LeBron. It's already the most valuable card there and I don't see it going down if he can at a minimum keep up the pace he's at into his mid 30s (and he's probably only going to get better). Plus there are only 99 produced compared to many more of a few of the bigger names on the list, plus it's autographed with game-used.

Brady over Lebron just because I'm from New England. Both could go down as the best in their sport during the period in my life that I really followed sports and collected the most.

If you were born in the 80s or 90s, I would agree with you. Had you been a few years older, you would have gotten to see players that were better than those two:

Montana > Brady
Jordan > Lebron

I like the way you think, though, and I can't certainly can't fault your reasoning for selecting those two guys.

Born in 85, so I did catch some of MJ but wasn't really a die hard sports fan until the tail end of his career and then the time with the Wizards that I don't count. I got into football after basketball (a year or two before the Pats lost in the super bowl to the Packers) so I didn't really catch Montana.

With that list, I went with Tiger. However, had you added Peyton Manning's Contenter RC to the mix, that would've been my choice.

Interesting how the most plentiful card in the bunch doesn't have any votes yet.

I think because it so common. Lots of people have stashes of them. But it is a nice card.

I don't have one yet... not sure why as I've always wanted one. I'll have to be on the look out for one.

I chose Tiger but like everyone else it was a tuff choice. MJ, Crosby,Pujols were very close but in the end I went with my gut, it's just a card I'd love to own and share with my son.

If Brady would have led his team to victory in their last Super Bowl during their undefeated season, I would have immediately handed him the crown of best all-time (from Montana). The fact that he was part of losing the big game keeps him a prince. Montana won four SBs, and winning his fourth in an undefeated season would have put Brady above Joe... but it didn't happen.

Losing the SuperBowl was no fault of Bradys. I can see Brady winning two more and having the most SuperBowls ever putting him above Montana. I wouldn't even consider Montana the greatest QB ever. I'd put Elway ahead of him as is and the way Peyton is going, I'd put him above Montana also.

Yea, his offensive line took the game off. Even at that he had them in position to come back and win the game but the Giants made two amazing plays on the Tyrie catch (the catch and Eli avoiding the sack).

If he comes back healthy this year I wouldn't be surprised to see them run the table again. The offense could be better than the record breaking season with additions of Fred Taylor and Joey Galloway. The defense added Derrick Burgess, Jerod Mayo, and the word on this rookie class is very good. Also, the defense should be better than last year if for no other reason than it will be on the field less.

I collect HOF autos and hope to pass the collection on to my son someday (hope he likes baseball!). I don't yet have a Pujols, and as soon as he gets one AB next year, he's a lock, so I chose his RC.

I'd go with Tiger Woods.

It is Tiger Woods that will still "be around" when kids that are young now grow up.
Tiger Woods could play for another 30 years if he wanted to, golf has it like that.

With the other sports, we could all get blue in the face, and wear out many keyboards
debating "whos better", as there are many people over time that could fill that role.

Baseball.....Think Pujols is the greatest ever? What about: Ruth, Cobb, Mantle, Cy Young, etc.
Hockey......Think Sid Crosby is the greatest ever? What about: Gretzky, Roy, Howe, etc.
Football.....Think Brady is the greatest ever? What about: Montana, Payton, Bradshaw, etc.
Basketball..Think Lebron is the greatest ever? What about: Russell, Jordan, Wilt, etc.

See what im saying?

Sure you could say, what about Jack Nicklaus? But Tiger will still be around

I'm not a golfer, but it would have to be the Tiger Woods autograph.

The man is the greatest of all time, by far.

There will always be up and coming basketball, hockey, and baseball players. Tiger Woods though, by the time there is someone better than him, sport cards will have ceased to be.

I voted for Pujols because of the way he plays the game on and off the field. He has been helping out kids in his home country who are less fortunate and believes in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour. He believes in a lot of the things I believe in.

Tiger=GOAT and nobody in the game today will come close to what he's done already even.

Tiger by far.

You can exclude griffey and jordan right now - too many produced, no autograph, and with tomorrow's technology, I'm willing to bet that it will be pretty easy to print counterfeit jordans in the future.

No Brady cause football is a team sport and no individual football player has really held their popularity through time, also too many other alternative cards to own.

Pujols is nice, but Babe Ruth will always, always be the king of baseball, especially with Pujols playing during the steroid era.

Lebron hasn't done squat- you are still speculating with him. Dan Marino was supposed to win the big one, but he never did.

Sid- Hockey? I don't think my kids plan on moving to Canada in the future, it's really a limited profile sport.

Tiger is currently the most well-known athlete, and if/when he breaks the career majors/wins records, will be considered the greatest accomplished athlete of all time. Their is just so much romanticism with the golf course in America. His name will be as everlasting as Ruth.

And I will argue that he will be the least likely athlete on this list to do something "stupid". Him and Sid the kid.

So how about these results as some evidence that we should develop a golf card/box break discussion section on FCB- mods? :D :D :D :D ;)

Curious as to what card you would want Jaypers.

It's a tough call, but I'd vote for Pujols.

Brutal question. Here was my decision making thought process...

- Despite Tiger being the most dominant in his respective sport, it's golf, so that disqualified him.
- Same with Crosby and hockey.
- Griffey is a given to be passed along because of the sheer volume of them that are out there, so that disqualifies that one.
- Brady is a Patriot, and as a Jets fan, no chance in hell that makes the cut.

So we're left with MJ, Lebron and Pujols. As great as Lebron could be, he's not there yet, plus I think it will come out that he was on HGH or something unnatural at some point, which makes his accomplishments less than pure. I fear the same with Pujols. With that being the case, MJ is the winner. No one dominated like Jordan, enhanced only by his unquenchable quest for greatness and inate competitiveness in everything he did. Watch an hour long MJ highlight reel on NBATV and I he easily becomes the favorite.
