Joe Mauer....I'd consider Buster Posey because of age but I don't know how well he handles pitchers?

He handled the best pitching staff in the majors last year...he did it very well.

I would take Posey, Lincecum or Hanley/maybe Pujols if I had a rich franchise.

1. Longoria - Plus bat and glove at a premium position signed long-term for cheap. Easy #1.

Longoria's contract makes him the obvious choice among the truly elite hitters, especially when taking into account the weakness at 3B in the majors.

I love Felix but I'll take Lester at half the cost.

Less than $5 million for Longo + Lester. Not bad.

I'd strongly consider Posey as well. The guy is an absolute rock.

If you're going by contract, then Ryan Braun has to me in the mix.

Okay. Sorry Lincecum has 2 CY Youngs. 3 straight seasons of 200+ IP and was super clutch in the post season/world series and is only 26. Sorry he's on my team, he's my favorite player and that I chose him.

Hamilton-junkie and injury prone.
Lincecum-he's already making decent money and pitchers are injury prone.
Braun-Big bat and nice contract but very little defensive value.
Posey- 2nd on my list
Hernandez-See Lincecum
Pujols - Big bat and good glove but making huge money at a position that isn't hard to find a nice bat.
