I agree with Catdaddy. It was a different time and everywhere as noted by Elmalo. People stomp on it now to make more money and can get away with it as most people looking only have so many options. Back then if you sold crap people would just buy from another source.

I agree. I think that maybe the high end stuff nowadays is better than the high end stuff then but I would guess that the average purity would have been greater in the old days.
