I just got an email that I'm now a "bronze" powerseller...I know nothing about this and have been doing fine with my sales without this title...

So, is this something I should be "yay-yay-ing" about?

Yeah, the main advantage to being a Power Seller is that you also get a certain % discount on seller fees.

I believe you're entitled to poweseller perks as long as you maintain a certain $$ quota per month.

Not any more, quota is based on last 12 mos selling. ($3000 sold and 100 transactions)

If you keep your DSR's up you can get up to 20% of your fees (that's the level I am on as a Bronze)

Interesting...

Thanks for the info guys. My thinking is that as a buyer, are you really more encouraged to bid on an item from a powerseller than a regular joe both with 100% positive feedbacks?

Well, I guess I should be happy then! :D

I would say a little bit... but not much. Nice to have that extra % from fees back though, especially if you sell a lot.

I am close to being a gold powerseller and the 20% discount on the selling fees is pretty nice at the end of the month.
