I'm your dream customer. I have too much money and I don't really watch a lot of basketball. With that said, watching Rajon Rondo today was absolutely wild.

I was under the impression he was still an athletic Kentucky guy that didn't bring that much to the table in terms of controlling a game, but damn.

One game has completely sold me on this kid. If I were you, I'd be listing my Rondos.

Also, this:

Date placed:
Sep 15, 2009 12:56p

Single #############(Placed by Web)
Basketball - Futures (Game) Moneyline
Odds to win 2010 NBA Championship
All wagers have action. Singles only.
(2223) Phoenix Suns 55/1 Sun@11:00p
Competitor:(2200) Atlanta Hawks
Risk CA$ 20.00 to win CA$ 1100.00

If they beat the Spurs, I'll definitely be hedging against my favourite team and only BBall bet that I've made.

It sure is tempting to sell. I got my SPx for about $20 (I can't remember exactly how much), and I probably could get around $40 for it now... :|

I think the prices will go up for the next couple days.

I mean, I can't remember the last chance I had to watch a kid dominate that much from the point guard position.

Probably better than Kidd in his AST-REB-FG hey-day.

I've been saying this since his rookie year. I'm glad people are being forced to get over the idea that he's only good because of the big three. The big three is still good because of Rondo. Rondo was the reason they beat the lakers for the title, and they'll go as far as he can take them this year. That's if the refs and David Stern let the Celtics win the series, which so far it looks like they really don't want that to happen.

i would sell now for sure because when celtics are out of the playoffs this year (either by the cavs or magic) i have a feeling they will be getting rid of some of there better players next year, and his cards will drop when the team falls off a bit. Also its hard to say if his production will continue when he doesnt have the big three to take defensive pressure off him during the game...either way hes playing outstanding right now.sell!

im just saying teams have to guard garnett, pierce, and allen and rondo...its hard to guard all four of those guys at once..not saying hes not a good player..also i dont understand why the cavs dont just drop back on him and FORCE him to shoot outside like kobe did to westbrook in the thunder series when he was killing them the first two games.

I just picked up a second one of these. The prices seem way too low, and unlike what some think, I believe that Rondo would only be more impressive with a weaker team as he may be forced to be more of a scorer and I could see him doing 22 a game with 10 assists next year. Meanwhile the fact that there are so many of these on eBay has kept prices down, but once the one's on go, I could see big increases coming. (Of course I'm a baseball guy, so I may have things wrong. Guess time will tell.)

I wish we could go back to the old BMB before the draft when I told everyone to stock up on Rondo. Any guard who can grab 22 rebounds in the college game, who is as fast as he is, and has the hands that he has is going to be successful. Too bad I didn't listen to my own advice as I was out of basketball cards by then ::facepalm:: .
