Washington NL East champion

Cincinnati NL Central champion

LA Dodgers NL West champion - they gotta get healthy though.

Giants vs Pirates wild card faceoff

I just feel with the offensive surge the Pirates have had the past month combined with their stellar pitching, they will be in the hunt. I would love to see them acquire another quality bat. I think they should target Chase Headley from the Padres....or maybe they could do a two-fer deal and get Headley and Quentin. That would be huge for them.

I'm rooting for Pittsburgh!

Yes, trade Headley for Marte and Heredia. That's my hope.

Sure, while you are at it could you pick my lotto numbers?

7 25 27 33 34 53 11

I want 10%

And may I remind you of our washed bet of Mr. Burnett. I know it involved 225 K's which he probably won't get but how good has he been? The NL Central is clearly the weakest division in baseball and I think the Pirates have the right formula right now for a playoff spot.

Thought I'd share what I have..It's so close with so many teams in striking distance of one another.

Carl; Burnett has been serviceable a plus 3 ERA in the "worst division in baseball" is kinda rough; right?

As we enter the AS Break I like to look at run diff; Pitt has scored 308 and given up 293. Houston has scored more runs than Pitt/Washington/Dodgers/SF.

If you are a 40 win team in any division not named the AL East you have a playoff shot. Should be a fun topic to bump in Aug/Sept.

Considering that they have already won 3 in a row before today's game that would be an impossible task. No Brewers this year.

He has been good, I was noticing that and thought of you. He is on pace for 180 SOs IF he was pitching 34 games...

Ha ha, I meant might win 2 more in a row. I am hearing rumors of Greinke to the Yanks. Any chance we get Campos, Banuelos, Austin, Bichette or Williams, that is a combination of them, I would take 2 of them and be done.
