Hello boys and girls I am new to this sight so I wanted to say hello, also I could use some Chromie help.

My question is about 2009 Bowman and Bowman Chrome. I jsut bought a large collection of cards and part of the collection is a TON of 09 Bowman and Bowman Chrome. When it comes to Chrome prospecting I have an IQ of maybe 95-100. So I am not stupid, but am no way the genius that some of you are. I know the bigger names and such, but the more "fringe" players are greek to me.

OK with that all said, are there certain players you guys are hot on from this product. I have well over 100 different autos from gold #/50 to regulars. I also have 100's of numbered cards again anywhere from 8 orange's #/25 to TONS of non-chrome #ed.

Are there certain guys you think I should be listing right now? I know Halman, Morrison and Knapp where selling ok. Who would you hold on to? ETC......

I am not trying to "steal" any of your prospecting knowledge, just trying to get a better handle on what I got in this collection.

Thanks and I hope to make some new friends in the hobby from this sight.

PS I am a Mets fan, but we arn't telling too many people that right now. LOL

Welcome to the site and the bolded is a complete overstatement. No one here is a genius at prospecting. For every slam dunk they've made, they've turned the ball over twice. JMO.

I am fully aware of Ebay and how it works. But Ebay dosen't really tell you who might be a sleeper or someone to maybe sit on.

I thought maybe somebody might like helping out a little.

Everyone is going to have their own opinions and such. I use milb.com to look at all the players on the checklist and use my own strategy to see who may be guys on the fringe. I compare to games played, how old they are, what organizational level they are currently at compared to their age and along with some other key components.

Like I said, everyone has their own strategy on who is on the fringe or who they think could end up as a superstar. I never bought into the F-Mart hype or some other guys that haven't exploded upon entering the big leagues. You will need to develop your own theory on the cards you have and of course, study ebay.

Thanks prospectorgems. I understand what ya mean. My thing is that I only collect a couple players, none of which are prospects and pre 1970's cards. That is why I was asking, I don't want to get into the prospecting game. I was just looking for a little insight or see if anybody here wanted certain players.

Thanks for your help.
