..I love the confidence the dude shows on the mound. People just don't hit the ball hard off of him. He had no trouble against Griffey Jr. and Ichiro in the 8th.. nerves of steel for a rookie.

To be fair, Griffey is over the hill and Ichiro is a singles hitter. Not a whole lot to fear there...not like it was his first game.

True, but I think it's more a credit to his composure as a rookie than anything. Griffey Jr's legacy precedes him.. I'm sure Holland grew up watching him or idolizing him. And it was his 6th game =)
