Here is the only autograph I personally own. I obtained it IP at TwinsFest in '09. I also have a few of his cards, and an un-signed 8x10 and small print.

He commented on how he liked the ball I picked out for him. My friend owns one from last year, that I am going to buy off him, because he won't keep it nice...

Some ink from somewhere rubbed off right onto the ball from somewhere after the pic was taken... it just barely missed the signature. I might have to find how to take it out.

Living in Iowa, about an hour an a half from his Museum in Van Meter, IA, I got to meet the man multiple times.

My favorite memory of him was when I was standing in line at his museum to go meet Ozzie Smith and he came out side in the cold and rain and signed autographs for free from every person standing in line.

He will be missed by all baseball fans, young and old.

RIP Rapid Robert.

This is a picture that appeared in my local paper when I was a kid. I was at a minor league baseball game (Dodgers Single A in Bakersfield) and was picked out of the audience to bat against him. I was 13 at the time (uh, that would be 1977) and I was petrified up there. He threw 3 pitches and I was miserable. As you can see, I was choked up hoping to hit a gapper. No gapper, no hits, but very memorable!

My most wanted card is a Feller Leaf Limited Auto that has this inscription on it. For a fellow Navy Member, it would mean a lot to acquire one, but with only 10 copies, it might be awhile.
