Whats the story behind the Chuck Klien Hooser Hammer?

From Indiana?

Thanks. Yes Klein was born in Indianapolis. Won the triple crown and was an inductee into the hall of fame in 1980. Didn't go to IU, but love the nickname and the cut out on the card.

Josh Phegley became the 23rd player to make it to the bigs (second this year). Also made the hot list this week! I was waiting to show these until I could borrow a real camera, but figured now was a good time.

Thank you very much. A lot of minor league card pickups, but do have some 'super' shiny cards I'll scan soon.

Forgot to mention, I finished the bios for the players who graduated/last played from the years 1980-1989, IU 1980-1989 - IUjapander Cards . Couldn't find pictures for everyone, and some of the ones I'll be looking for replacements, but again I will start working on the looks of the pages once the framework for all of them is completed.

Did some checklist maintenance this weekend as well. Deleted the following cards off the list. I'm 99.99% sure they do not exist, but would love for someone to prove me wrong. There are others that are close to being removed, but just these four for now.

Even though I am a Boilermaker, I Love this thread. Brings back memories if guys I played against from 99-03. Vasili was a good dude, got to know him fairly well as he was one of my teammates former high school teammate and best friend. Good stuff man, keep it up.
