For those who went, how was the show today? I'm debating on going tomorrow.

Hey Andy--I am going to write up a recap about my day at the show but I'll give you a quick rundown. The show was OK to be nice. Me and laneyb got there this morning around 10 and I stayed til closing at 5PM. If you love vintage, there is a TON at this show. There are some really nice cards too, with some garnishing high PSA grades.

The wax was slim to none. There were only two dealers that really had wax and they were located on the right as you come in over by the concession stand. The memorabilia was a little down too.

There wasn't a ton of prospects out there. It was mixed with most of it coming from the left side tables when you come in. There were a couple of guys near the middle of the showroom that had a decent amount of newer stuff.

All in all it was just an OK show. If you are selling, you will do fairly well if you have nice mid to higher end stuff.

There was an over abundance of Carolina Panthers and Bobcats crap. I give it a C- but thats just me.

You have to understand that I am not a vintage collector. I was really shocked at the lack of wax product there. I think there were only about 3 total packs* of Prime Cuts IV and probably only about 10 total boxes of Topps Sterling.

I may have to revise the grade to a B- but thats as high as I would go. Laneyb didn't find ONE freakin Griffey card he needed which was a little disappointing to me as I pumped up the show for him fairly well and it was a letdown.
