Interesting information - Peter Gammons - Elvis Adrus - Davi

I was listening to ESPN Radio this morning and heard some interesting information from Mr. Gammons...

1. He stated the Elvis Andrus is the leading R.O.Y Candidate in the AL

2. He also stated that people withing the Rangers Organization credit Andrus and Chris Davis' Defense for the their turnaround this year......

I found both of these statements to be VERY interesting. I wonder if Davis' defense will help buy him more time to continue trying to figure out his strikeout woes!

He said the same thing on Baseball Tonight today after talking about how great the Giants are. I agree with him on Andrus and I didn't know Davis was a good defensive player. I thought he only struck out or hit a homer and that was the extent of his ability.

As a Rangers season ticket holder, I can tell you that Chris Davis is amazing at 1B. The stretches this kid makes are unbelievable. He looks completely lost at the plate though.

He is a former 3rd Basemen, so I guess it makes sense that he handle himself well over there at 1B.....
