Brian(leaf) says that doing that is basically burning bridges. And in the long run the athlete may just not sign anything else for your future products or worse yet, go to a competitor. But there still has to be a way topps can get together with MLB and do something about this. The reason they haven't is because nobody has pushed the envelope far enough to force topps' hand. As long as people keep busting wax... why change it?

The players are under contract, the players dont sign the cards they are under contract to sign...and yet no one cares enough to stop it....

If topps says to a player that they will take them to court or press legal action for breach of contract for not signing the autos before *** amount of days/months...whatever, then that player may go ahead and sign but I really think it'll be the last time they ever sign an auto for topps. They'll sign for another company who doesn't put such strict time frame measures on them.

If you're buying redemption cards...you're asking for heartache.

Pulling a redemption, that's bad luck...but paying for them...it's all on you.

I would trust a Leaf redemption...but no other company.

+1 leaf nailed it when i comes to redemptions. TOPPS DONT CARE ABOUT YOU AND THE REDEMPTION YOU PULLED.
