I personally hate interleague games. I just read an article regarding how dumb it is to be in pennant races and have teams playing interleague games during september. Just wanted to see what other FCBers thought about them...

I think it's double edged. I think it's cool to see certain match ups. at the same time I've always thought the leagues should stick to themselves. I hate being able to reference back to a seasons game or series to see how they did against each other already. Not that it matters in some cases

Wish the Rangers could take back the three they just lost to the Pirates.
Rangers are limping into the last month of the season.

i hate them because they take away the specialness of the World Series. I don't mind them in spring training because clubs are figuring out who will be making the 25 man opening day roster so there is likely to be a lot of players in spring training not on the World Series clubs.

By the time the world series arrives, both teams with their 25-man settled rosters have likely already met 3-4 times during the regular season.

I do give you props for your interleague play during september argument - with the unbalanced league, you can't go to division-only play in sept - there will always be at least one interleague matchup through the final day of the season. I do like in the odd-numbered leagues how schedule-makers have at least tried to schedule as many games as possible as division matchups in sept (Dodgers are playing division the rest of the month and are done with interleague until the world series (grin).
