For you retail junkies, 2009 BDP is already out in Target, featuring Purple refractors (base set only). Not serial #d, but I hear they appear 1:4 packs.

Looking forward to seeing what they look like. Sure beats SOTF autos, IMO.

This is probably a preview of things to come for bowman. When someone is gonna collect a rainbow it might be 13 colors.

pretty sure it is. i was told about 6 mnths ago they planned on adding a purple ref.

I think retail only parallels is a great idea as it separates the two products and creates another chase.

As someone who is collecting the retail only parallel blue refractors from 2009 Topps Chrome Football...I love the idea of another oddball chase set.

2005 Bowman Chrome had the Green Refractor "exclusivity" first.

They were numbered to 225
