If a player can't handle getting heckled by fans on the road they need to find a new job. I heckle road players all the time and normally you get ignored. Sometimes you'll get a dirty look and sometimes they'll heckle back. Going after a fan, no matter what they said, is ridiculous. You get paid at least a half million bucks a year to play a game. Part of the job description is not going ape **** on fans.

Yep, Rule #145 subsection B clearly states "You agree to not to go ape shat on fans"

I doubt the guy went out of the stands to physically assault the player. Had that happened he would have spent time in jail. No way is a comment like that worthy of getting choked.
