I went to the game today at Victory field. The Indians got obliterated 15-6, but I got:

FAILURE:
George Foster -0/1 - Asked him to sign a ball and he ignored me. His "assistant" said he would only sign for $20 :?

Also, I caught a foul ball:

....then the somewhat depressing thing for the night. I got Scott Rolen on a Cardinals mini-helmet and I guess I stuck it back in my bag before the ink dried, because when I pulled it back out to show my mom's boyfriend, the "S" in Scott and part of the "R" in Rolen were almost completely smeared off. ::facepalm::

Overall, a pretty successful night for graphing. Thanks for looking!

Sam: Their is a booth right past the right field line that sells awesome bratwurst.

brouthercard: Yeah, I got him, I just forgot to put it in my original post. His sloppy auto is on the graphing custom in the center that is going sideways.

Yeah he is, see my original post. He was a jerk about it quite honestly. Also, Rolen's last game on rehab was last nite, so you would have to go to Cincy to get him.

Agreed. When HOF's sign for free, their is no way Foster should be charging $20. Ultimately it is up to him what he charges for his autograph, but I would rather pick one up on eBay for less than $5 instead of getting it IP for 4x that, and I am sure I am not the only one who feels that way.

Your fair city huh?? Mine as well sir, born and raised on the Near East side. Went away to college in 2003. Still back about once a month or so.

I went to the Thursday and Friday night games. Got a chance to talk to Rolen both nights - GREAT guy! First night I got him to sign a baseball for me and a baseball for my son (Rolen.) The second night I got him to sign a Cardinals mini helmet and a Blue Jays mini helmet...to go with the Phillies one I've got. He also signed my son's ball cap. I don't have pictures of the stuff just yet...probably within the next couple of days.
