is anybody collecting strasburg?

anyone themselves or know of anyone player collecting strasburg. NOT prospecting. with all this hype, i still have not heard of anyone say they were collecting him.

I'd like to pick up one for my collection, but definitely not at current prices. I'll wait til they come down a bit, like they always do. Same with Harper.

only collecting him as part of the h/c sets I collect. I am not going out of my way to buy his singles or do other player-collector like activities with him.

The hype just makes it more ridiculous to get h/c sets that include him. I'm just hoping he makes his debut, the hype dies down, and he's just about an average pitcher in his rookie season so the sets he is in that I collect will return to the reasonable levels before the rumor of his callup started.

I guess I am. I collect mostly football and Clemente stuff. But as I Nats fan, I felt it would be a good idea to own 1 of each RC. So I bought a Bowman base and Chrome. May do the same with Harper at some point. Will probably also try to get the rest of the Strasburgs base rc this year, but have no plans to over pay.

I'm keeping a Bowman base. Depending on how good he turns out to be, in a year or so I might start a new player collection. I'd really like to get some Harper stuff, too, but I don't like collecting guys with bad attitudes.

I got a Blue parallel /520 out of my boxes, so i decided to keep a base rc as well as a Chrome RC for my PC.
Now let's see him being blown in his first 3 starts and i'll be able to pay myself an auto of him

Because of his hype and card prices, i know a lot of people that have nothing to do with cards that want him to fail badly
