I saw similarities in Carter and Cody Johnson's approach at bat last season. Although Johnson has showed the same power, Chris has not. But something tells me he's grown up a lot at the plate. It's starting to show. He's over .300 with better dicipline. Don't get me wrong, he still will strike out, but he's actually showing some walks, singles, doubles, etc.

Thoughts?

I haven't followed him much this season, but he had a slow start last year as well if I recall.

Did you bother to look him up or just respond? Carter is hitting extremely well.

Yes, I did. I thought you were referencing his lack of home runs. If I recall correctly, it was at least a month into the season before he started knocking them out in bunches.

Eh, his BB% is down, K% is up, IsoP is down. His AVG and OBP is up, but the OBP is only up because the AVG, and AVG can be pretty fluky.
