Is it "Now" too late for the 2007/2008 NBA Draft

You have Durant who is a superstar, but what else do you have. There are some nice players like Horford, Noah, and Green. However, it just seems it's Durant and everyone else..

I agree it does not look to be a terribly deep class.....but in terms of hobby relevance, Durant is one of the few players that makes up for that by himself.

07/08 wax more than any of the past few years seems harder to find, and isn't selling well under the initial msrp across the board. That's pretty much on Durant's merits alone.
I remember last time I checked for 07/08 Exquisite boxes they were selling for a ridiculous price, especially when you factor in that when it was initially released it actually was selling lower than expected, as the average box break had very poor value.

Actually, now that you mention it.....they used to give that stuff away for free. :lol:

I forgot, Christmas 08' I got a free box of that for spending like $250 or something.
All that stuff was dirt cheap a couple years ago....guess I was naive, not realizing what a difference the Durant hype would make, when I was looking this summer to pick up some 07/08 boxes.

this past summer the boxes of 07/08 stuff were not "cheap" i have no idea what they used to be, but since the summer (when i got back into hoops) ive been tracking pretty much all low to mid level wax prices.

some of the boxes have gone up a small tick, but not really. some of it is not available either.
