I can see Beckham being their 3B in 4-5 years if Fields flops and Viciedo moving over to 1B

nice! i have a base auto going to bgs, but i'm speaking as a fan. a family friend saw him in the CWS and told me he's sick and he looks pretty good in clips i've seen

I would harldy say a guy throwing 88-92 mph was showing "great stuff". I think floyd did alot with marginal stuff.

i meant his stats. i think a 25-year old who went 17-8 with a 3.84 ERA which is not awful is worth more than brian roberts.

He was good, I agree. The Sox were definitely happy with him and his progress.

I personally would rather have roberts, depending on his contract. Speed, a good second basemen, veteran presence, good duo with Alexi, etc.

So if they Nix Getz they Getz Nix, and if they Nix Nix, they Getz Getz, If they both Suck they Nix Nix and Getz, then try Lillibridge, and Beckham could get a call with injury or late season call up, or start next year.

I don't think Fields will be awful, he just had problems especially fielding last year, from a knee injury in a nasty collision at home plate in Charlotte. Took care of it at the end of the season. What did you think of him after 2007? I'm hoping he will be back to that form and possibly develop to more.
