Nope not an MJ thread. Is it the shoes.......that are causing all the Pistons injuries.
Just found this article, thought it was funny when the Pistons trainer referred to the Nike Hyperize as a "glorified moccasin". :lol:

He may have a point though, as I've always been weary of the shoes that sacrifice comfort/support to be super-lightweight. And I believe poor shoes could increase the likelihood of injury - A few years ago I tore my ACL. I was playing a pick-up game and hat on a pair of beaters that offered little cushioning and almost no upper stability/support.....to this day I honestly feel that if I had planned to play and had on my AJ XX's (which IMO is one of the most comfortable and stable shoes ever) my knee wouldn't have buckled. But what do I know.
