I have a ton of low end prospect cards from 2006-2009 Bowman Draft, etc. Is it worth it to list all of those cards are on sportlots? I mean, I know I am not going to make a ton of money on it, but any little bit will help. Anyone have any experience from selling on there?

Do a search of sportlots for some of the cards you have and see how many other people have the same cards listed and for how much. If lots of other people have the same cards listed then you'll need to compete on price and may not be worth your time.

Yeah, I did that and know I could lower than most of them just to sell and get out of the door, but then wonder how long those cards have been sitting out there.

Not Sportlots but here's my selling base story-

I have a ton of cards from mainly 2005 BDP. Some 06 and 08-09 BDP. And some 2010 Topps.

I listed mine on Sportsbuy and in the past few months sold over $300. None were autos and only 2 cards were over $1 ($5ish). Sold most for .10 ea. RC's for prospectors and tons of inserts to set builders.

I used to list there but stopped a few years ago. Started again after years of tossing/giving away my unwanted base and glad I did !

Thanks for the idea. Never thought of that. I may have to check that out since sportlots site is currently down.

No problem. Good Luck.

All of my cards are the lowest priced. None are high dollar, so I'm not worried about losing real money. All are base or low end parallels and if someone has theirs priced for .40, I set mine at .10. Even if the card has been moving at .40. I think it forces a impulse buy and they add more cards to offset shipping.

Sucks when they buy 1 or 2 cards, as you net pennies after fees, shipping and then the Paypal fee if you cash out. But that has not happened too often. Majority were $15-40 orders. Well worth it to me.

Also I noticed a trend. Many would buy 2005 BDP or 2010 Topps inserts etc. So if you list on there, I would first divide my cards up by set and then bulk list. (500 per month IIRC) Hate to have you leave $ on the table. A guy buy 5 cards. And then a week later you list more from the same set and he sees 1 or 2 more he wants but dont want to have to pay shipping again they stay unsold.
