Jims certainly all business. The only people I have ever noticed he was rude to is people who he knows/thinks cant afford his cards yet asks about a $7,0000 card. Especially kids. I have seen 12 year olds go up to him and ask "What are you getting on the Gehrig cut?" His responce is usually kind of sarcastic: "Thats a $6,500 card, son. Should I take it out for you?" Or something of that nature. If he thinks you have something he wants he will buy it and/or trade for it. One thing with him is he starts off as low as he possibly can making offers, but I will admit he continues upping the offer until its reached a point where hes paying what the person wants, if not more than they even expected. He is definately someone who will go after ANY card and wont stop at any price from what I have seen, when he wants a card bad enough. Hes owned some of the biggest cards made in the hobby over time: Josh Gibsons single cut auto, Mt. Rushmore cut auto, each of the 99 UD POH Ruth cut auto bats (I think theres either 2 or 3), and about any cut auto you could ever want. His Ebay store is just the tip of the collection he has when he sets up at shows. He usually has about 1,500 cards with him and nothing below about $800. The stuff he keeps in the back with him, off the table rivals most collections I've seen. I think hes very fair in the end and usually both parties end up happy with whatever deal is made.

Studley is always at the Mansfield card show in MA so if you're in the area, be sure to check out his table. It's always insane.

very true, email thru ebay and they will answer.
they are an older couple with unlimited money
and some of the nicest cards on the planet.
I agree.
I messaged them through ebay and Janice was quick to get back to me, and is generous enough to wait on payment until next weekend when I'm home.
So I picked this up from them....

little_italian is operated by several people. it may acually be the screen name for a man and his wife, but several of those cards (maybe not a majority, but some anyway) are not the man and his wife's. that i know as i have spoken with at least three of the people who use that account.

the first time i dealt with the older gentleman, i snagged the cobb cut in my sig. it cost me $1,200 cash + 4 or 5 other high-end cards for it. the whole negotiation process took about 45-minutes, with about 40 of it being ME who was hesitant. he was easy to deal with, nice to talk to, and i would definitely deal with him again.
