I actually liked him as a player when he was with us. He was a huge factor in the A's sweeping the Twins in the '06 ALDS. I thought he was being well behaved as well, but there were some antics in the clubhouse that were kept quiet (throwing a chair which hit another player).

He is a heck of a guy to meet in person. No sarcasim here, he is a stand up guy to the fans and doesnt turn down many autograph requests. During the offseason I saw him show up at Josh Hamilton's book signing in Long Beach just to cheer him on and interact with the fans. He probaly signed more autographs than Josh did that day. He has always been very true to his fans every time I have seen him in person. He is just a very intense player on the field and I dont have a problem with that.

I remember when he was with the Dodgers, when a fan threw a beer bottle at him, so Bradley picked up the beer bottle and threw it back.

It boggles my mind how a player like Bradley can make 10 million a year...

because the guy can play ball better than alot of players in the league even if he does have attitude problems.

It's nice to hear that he's isn't the horrible beast that the media portrays him to be.

exactly!

So he has one decent season and is worth 10 million a season... yeah. He's EXTREMELY injury prone and an absolute cancer in the clubhouse... he's not and never will be worth 10 million a season. I could probably name 50 players that make considerably less money than him that are better players... and I'm not going to waste my time actually doing that, just making a point.

He's actually a really nice guy in person and a really underrated player. He plays with passion, just sometimes he can't control himself.
