Is Taijuan Walker this year's non rookie breakout?

He's now pitched 10 straight games where he's given up 2 ER or less. Should have had the shutout tonight, but still won 5-1 in NY.

Was so pissed. 2 outs, bottom of the 9th. Tried to sneak an 84 mph fastball past Gardner.

Still, he got the CG 3-hitter! He made them look bad tonight too.

1.52 ERA through first 6 starts. Very nice!!

All-Star game!

Bummed Yost saved him for extra innings. Oh well, had a blast down there! Hooked us up with some jerseys and autographed balls.

No, I'd say Jake Lamb, Steven Wright & Wil Myers are all having bigger non-rookie breakout seasons than Walker.

Walker's FIP (career high) & BABIP (career low) are troubling and bound to lead to further regression this season. He's also only averaging 5.1 IP per game but his strikeout & walk numbers along with his WHIP are still solid.

Woah, saw you there. Only player that came over after BP ended (besides Brach that went with family).

One of these guys is you? If so, how did you get to meet him?

I saw them just calling him over and showing him the jerseys. Really nice guy. After the AL was coming to the dugout after BP and the official picture was taken.
