Is the 92 Bowman Mariano Rivera an unnanounced SP?

I know this might sound like a crazy question but has anyone else heard that this card was a short print?

I ask because two different dealers once told me (one in Chicago, the other in NY) that the Mo card was always the card needed to complete sets when they broke down cases back in 1992.

Thats also one of the cards I always look for at Nationals and ususally is next to impossble to locate.

Not saying they are rare just wondering if anyone else heard or thought this?

I never heard that, I pulled a few back in the day. I think I have 1 or 2 left.

The answer is no.

The gold foils may be sp, but not any of the base cards.

if by "SP" you mean a few hundred thousand made, then yes.
