First of all, I love this board, it's my favorite website and I thank all the moderators for their hard work keeping it running.
However, does anyone else think the name "Freedom Card Board" limits the amount of new members signing up?
If I had never heard of this site, and I was searching Google for a sportscard message board, I probably wouldn't click on a board of this name because it doesn't sound like baseball or sports.
Yesterday at work, a co-worker saw me reading the board, and asked why I was looking at a "freedom fighters" website.
Of course, we longtime members know the name Freedom is because we broke free of Beckett's terrible board.
But to the average collector searching for a new message board, I don't think one of this name will be among their first choices.
I don't have any solutions, and again, I appreciate the hard work by the moderators.
It's just something I was thinking about after the FCB's marketing push at The National.
