I could have sworn that I was forwarded a link with a complete history of the 7-11 coins that were issued from 1983-1992.
I must have deleted the email with the link. ::facepalm::

In 1991 there were several different regions that released 15 disc sets.
According to Beckett, there was a National Region. Clemens is in this set.
The National Region mirrors the Northeast Region in terms of the checklist.
I cannont find anyway to differentiate between two sets.
Does the National set even exist?
Here is the National Checklist:

1. Wade Boggs
2. Barry Bonds
3. Roger Clemens
4. Lenny Dykstra
5. Dwight Gooden
6. Ken Griffey Jr.
7. Rickey Henderson
8. Gregg Jefferies
9. Roberto Kelly
10. Kevin Maas
11. Don Mattingly
12. Mickey Morandini
13. Dale Murphy
14. Darryl Strawberry
15. Frank Viola

it might have been me that sent you the website with all the sets listed.. I somehow don't think that national set exists. My brother needs the Rickey Henderson and I don't think he's ever seen or heard anything about it even from his fellow collectors. I know for my guy I have all 5 regions he was issued in. The hardest to obtain was by far the NC designated coins which were northern California regional and light blue backed.. very rarely are these offered anywhere for sale and I lucked out found a whole set of them. I remember helping Onionring as well since he didn't have the BigMac from that set and I've helped a few other player collectors out. obviously that was a tough set as I only have 2 of the players remaining of the 15.

Anyone have scans of their rainbow? I didn't know there was that many different versions, nor do I know how to tell the difference anyway.

Do you have the 1992 Barry Colla All-Star Promo?
I have the Clemens regular All-Star but not the promo.
Apparently the backs are different, they don't have any stats, and they were issued in the days leading up to the game.
Supposedly 25,000 sets were produced.
I have never seen one card from any player from the Promo set.

There are a couple of sets on ebay that are interesting.
The regular All-Star set was a 24 card issue and the promo set was a 25 card issue with the only difference being a Juan Guzman unnumbered checklist. I have never been able to tell from the boxes how to tell the difference.

Colla All-Star 1

Colla All-Star 2

Notice on #1 that the description says a 24 card set and in #2 it states a 25 card set. I am wondering if #2 is the promo. I am apprehensive to spend $10 + shipping to find out it's the regular issue.

I still have some of these (my father was a regional manager for 7-11 before they were bought out in the South by Stop N' Go; they actually just "flip-flopped" with Stop N' Go's Northern region- the 7-11's took over SnGo's in the North while the SnGo's took over the 7-11's in the South). I have a 1986 (i think it is 86, it is put away & I don't feel like digging it out) Bruce Sutter with the back still on (the problem with these were the dang backs got "bubbley" & peeled/tore off, but I was able to keep this one intact). I also have a Nolan Ryan of the same year but the back has been partially worn off (it's still a neat addition to my N.Ryan PC)! :D

I contacted the seller of the 25-card set, and he said it was an error. There are only 24 cards in that set.

I don't have either of the Promo's and have never even seen a Canseco. I have seen the 1992 Big Mac, Bagwell, and Nolan Ryan Promo's but thats it from that set. I wonder how many of the others actually exist since they didn't have 12 card sets made in 1992.

RU4Scuba on here has attempted to contact Barry Colla in the past for me about the cards to see if he had any in his personal stash but even he didn't seem to have any info on them.

I have also been searching for the Rickey forever, and actually contacted the guy who runs this website sometime last year. He said that it was an error on Beckett's part, and that a National set does not exist. He said that he's tried to get them to remove the set, but they don't really care.
