I didn't know they made a version numbered to 3, and also thought the numbering on these was in a different location. What do you think?

Thanks,

Hey Casey- Description is accurate, this is from the Hawaii show. Donruss repackaged a bunch of these for this show and made them all extremely low #'d. I don't put much stock in these issues, they were arbitrarily low #'d and never pack inserted. Comparable to a replacement if you ask me.

Ok, I see.

How do player collectors feel about these. I know there are different sides of the obsessive spectrum, but are these must haves or "ah, who cares" type of cards (generally speaking)?

Thanks,
Casey

I'd rather have the base auto'd version than this card. Just my opinion, I'm sure there are those who feel differently.

These aren't really repackaged. They are the original cards that were kept for replacement purposes that in the end were used for the Hawaii show after replacements weren't given.

Well, the regular pack inserted ones are as much true RCs as these, so I would take the low serial numbering in a second.
I kind of feel the same way, I like the low numbering and that they had a different distribution method. However, I don't have the funds to continually go after items like the one posted.

Neat item though.
