Is this a must win game for the 49ers?

The 49ers are currently 3-2 and have looked pretty damn good in every game (I have erased the Falcons game from my memory starting..now). However, if they happen to lose this game this weekend does it all mean nothing? We would be at the same level as previous years and looking toward a downhill slope of accumulating losses like an old lady gets cats. Do you think this game could determine the whole season if lost or could it be my pessimism from being a lifetime 49ers fan getting in the way of watching success?

Absolutely not. The NFC West sucks so that is always in reach. Being 3-3 after this weekend wouldn't be horrible, there is still a lot of games to be played.

I agree with the above statement's, I think this game has more relevance for the Texans than the 49er's. IMO this game is more about seeing where each team is at fundamentally, on thier way up or down (but it really isn't a "must" for San Fran). :D

It isn't as big for the team as it is for Hill. He has to show he can lead this team to a W.....he needs to start being more vertical and less horizontal.
