4PM - (1) Florida vs (2) Alabama

8PM - (3) Texas vs (22) Nebraska

4 of the top 5 teams in the country with the season on the line. We get 1 good game a day come bowl season.

No, I prefer the bowl games and seeing teams unfamiliar w/ each other playing.

A few years ago I probably would have said no.....but this year it seems to be the case.

A big reason for me is the fact they have staggered the bowls now, and it just seems there are a lot less games on New Years day then there used to be, with some of the biggest games on random weekday nights. Plus you can rgue these games actually mean much more then any bowl game other then the National Championship. (Though I do agree, depending on the matchups I will look forward to watcing Boise., TCU, Cinn, etc if they get a chance to prove themselves against a power team).

quality of games -----yes Saturday is better

tradition and fact that I have my paper out with the grid of bowl selections--bowl games = better

Nope. How can you say that when Florida and Alabama POTENTIALLY could finish 2 and 3 in the polls?

Cincy could be in front of Alabama after new years day.

Alabama 32 Florida 13

Texas 13 Nebraska 12

2 incredible games and 1 so-so game... but overall what a wonderful day of football. I cant see how the bowl games can top it.
