Topps posted a picture of an uncut sheet the other day on facebook, as a giveaway I believe. You'd think a professional writer could do something as simple as use Ctrl+F on an official facebook page. Unless they just did the "is it coming" angle to build hype.

There's never a good excuse to half ass your job. It would have taken no more than 120 seconds to pull up the Topps facebook, hit ctrl+f, and search for "Turkey Red".

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I believe you should earn your paycheck. When I'm on the job, I take pride in myself and put forth effort. I just naturally expect others to do the same, especially on something so simple as 120 seconds of research on an article speculating on something that can be proven one way or another.

Release is 2 weeks away.

A question I have...will the singles help sell the product this time? Or if this is as limited as the baseball version... would it be best to just flip the unopened packs. The last 5 box/pack lot sold for $241 dlvd.

Additionally, before I posted the article, I reached out to Topps to ask them about it and they refused to comment on giving me any more information. After I wrote that post, Topps removed anything that Turkey Red football from its website.

I take great pride in what I do. But I am not perfect. I do the best job I can do. If that's not good enough for you, well, that's an issue you are going to have to deal with.

The internets is serious business. I'll put my ******** routine on hold for a moment though. I'm sorry you were offended. In an open forum like FCB, my words should rarely be taken at face value.

First off, I have a strong resentment towards Beckett (even though it has nothing to do with the actual writing that goes on), and often bash anything and everything Beckett related across the internet - I make them my digital pinata. Though you personally don't deserve it, you and others like you under Beckett employ will occasionally catch more flak than you deserve because of that.

What I posted was just over-exaggerated ramblings directed towards nobody in particular and everyone who would read. In fact, what I said was very mild compared to what I say directed to the important things that directly impact my life - like football players who can't throw the ball or crybaby athletes like Dwight Howard. I'm very sarcastic, abrasive, overly dramatic, and don't use a filter or kid mittens.

At the time, I didn't know the writer was a member here that was not only easily accessible but would also see my post. Had I known that, I would have made mention of the additional information I knew of and then shot you a PM in a courteous manner. Instead, I just looked and saw "BECKETT", and lumped the article in with the faceless entity that left a bad taste in my mouth.

I didn't even know you were the writer when you first responded to me, or I would have made the post I am now instead of further cutting down "Faceless Beckett Writer". I figured you were just somebody piping in with a sarcastic comment because, well, this is the internet and that's what people do. Really that's kind of what I originally did.

I do still believe that it's something that additional info was easily accessible and pertinent to an article stirring up speculation where there need not be any. It's a pet peeve of mine when writers stir up questions that already have answers.

I see that you later went and found that information and added it in to your original article. Though I now regret my choice of words, I'm glad that there was a little good in me acting like a dick since it was something to help improve your article.
