There's only one box listed on the first two pages of the box break boards, but there are boxes on Ebay for $104.50 shipped, which seems like a decent price. In the first couple of weeks after the set came out it seemed like the majority of posts were of Ultimate. Has everyone had enough? Are people just buying singles now? Looking for the next hot set to come out? I bought as much of the cards that I liked that I could, but there's a lot less to bid on now.

I can't believe people paid that much for a shot at a GU card. I guess all the Griffey collectors have dried up.

You're the idiot who pays $70 for a box of Heritage, which basically amounts to a $2 GU card and some $1 chrome parallels

So you probably aren't one to be talking

You can call me Milton
I wouldn't buy a single box since most of them have been "searched". A case would be fun but I'm not dropping that much cash on one since it looks like a majority of the bigger hits have come out.

I think 2 reasons, one like someone already wrote, these can be searched. Two, why pay $105 plus per pack when you can buy really nice patches of 80% or so of the players for less than the price of a pack.

I have 7 patches so far that have cost me less than 7 packs would have, and my patches include Griffey, Schmidt, Longoria and Reyes (a really nice one).

craze is over, plenty of product still out there. I think anything over $100 for this stuff is not worth it.

Do not buy this product by the box unless you see the case opened.

I think you just bought my Bench Barrel /5? If it is you, it will be sent tomorrow.

Awesome product. I think it'll continue to be strong... loads of appeal for set collectors and player collectors like myself.

Yep, that's me.

Good points on the box searching. I forgot that that was possible with this set. Now I see why the case breaks on this board were so popular.

Maybe now that a lot has found it's way into collections the prices of singles will start to go up and fuel another round of opening packs. I love the set, but I only buy singles so that's what I'm hoping for.

you really should learn more about the product so you don't look so dumb making this statment. I can spend 3
dollars on one pack and pull ink, with Ultimate I MUST spend 100 bucks to pull ink. Plus the value of the base
cards, short prints and inserts are all worth good money and or trade...but then again you wouldn't know that.

People who purchase boxes of Heritage are usually not picking it up for the "hits" where someone picking up the Ultimate is going exactly for that "hit". Two totally different products aimed at different types of collectors.

For the most part, this product seems to have dried up. I think the shock factor is done as well.
